We began in spring 2025- just a few Catholic moms across the U.S. moved to act on the basis of Catholic Social Teaching.

The Dorothea Project is an all-volunteer initiative, created and maintained by those who share its mission.

Why We Exist

We educate on Catholic Social Teaching (CST) so our communities are empowered to speak truth and act in defense of vulnerable people whenever human rights and human dignity are violated. We exist to pray, form, and show up- especially when silence is easier.

We’re a growing network of Catholic women animated by the Gospel and committed to the common good. Our work is quiet but clear. We are rooted in prayer and built on trust.

  • 16,000+ Hail Mary’s prayed for the vulnerable and imprisoned
