Our Lady of Sorrows Witness for Our Immigrant Neighbors
September 15th is the Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows, and sorrow is an emotion that many of us know all too well these days.
As we see such dehumanizing treatment of our immigrant brothers and sisters, we are stepping into prayer, solidarity, and action to call for their humane and dignified treatment.
Mass will begin at 10:00 am followed by a gathering and prayerful procession to Congress to then meet with our Representatives to share Catholic Social Teaching on the dignity of the human person, call to community, and the preferential option for the poor.
